Life’s struggles

Sometimes there are times when life feels as though it’s crashing down on you. Things such as health issues, financial struggles, loss of a job, or loved one, a marriage that end in divorce etc,. At least as a Christian I have been dealing with some of these issues. At times I had felt like throwing in the towel because of anger or frustration. I did find myself questioning God at times. It took me looking back in the past to see how God really stepped in, and performed some miracles. I started asking myself how can I question his love for me, especially when he Jesus Christ who is God stepped into this world as a human being willfully laid down his life on the cross and shed his blood to pay for my sins, and the world’s sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. How could I not know God loves me. It’s during these difficult times in life when we find ourselves questioning God, when in fact we should know he’s sovereign, and in control. All we have to do is trust him, and know he’s working it all out for our good, and that he has a wonderful plan for our lives. As a Christian, the gospel can shine through us to a dark world who needs Jesus. It’s when Christians have joy, and peace through these harrowing times, that makes us the salt of the earth as Jesus said we should be, and will attract those who don’t believe to Jesus. So my words of encouragement to other Christians is that you need to stay close to the Lord, and pray without ceasing. He will come through. Let’s let an unbelieving world see Christ through us as we proclaim the gospel.
