We are born into this world with nothing and will leave this world with nothing. We can’t take anything we have ever accumulated on this earth into eternity with us when we die other than our soul. The soul will go onto live forever either in heaven or hell. There’s only one way to get to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. We’re born sinners who have rebelled toward God. We all deserve hell and judgment. We’ve turned our back on God. God sent Jesus on a rescue mission to save us from hell and judgment. He died the substitutionary death that we deserved on the cross to pay for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later.
We could never do anything on our own to pay God back for our sins. No amount of good works or deeds could do it. There had to be a sacrifice once and for all, and Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He died for us because he loves us. If you have lied, stolen, had sex before marriage, committed adultery, murdered, used Gods name in vane then you have broken Gods moral law the 10 commandments and are a sinner. You need to come to the cross where the price was paid for your sins so you can seek Gods gracc, mercy, and forgiveness of your sins. You first must humble yourself and see your lost condition before God, and your inability to save yourself. Then will you see the need for Gods free offer of salvation offered to all people. We only have the chance to receive Jesus Christ as our savior when we have a breath in our body. Once we take that last breath it will be too late. The Bible says today is the day of salvation. Make that choice for Jesus now. Don’t put it off because you don’t know if you will have tomorrow. Heaven isn’t for good people, it’s for forgiven people. God gave us all free will to choose. The best decision you could make is to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior. Come to the cross where your sins were paid for. Receive grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Hell is a horrible place that nobody should want to go to. It’s either heaven with Jesus for all eternity or Hell eternally separated from God.
Charlie Kirk
Today I chose to write about a brother in Christ named Charlie Kirk. On Wednesday September 10th, we suffered a great loss of a husband, Father, and a brother in Christ due to his assignation. I didn’t know Charlie personally, but I know he was a great man of God who proclaimed the name of Jesus everywhere he went. He spoke boldly and courageously about his faith. He was a very intelligent man who knew a lot about politics, and the word of God. I watched several of his debates on YouTube. He would have rational discussions with people on some of the big topics of today. He wouldn’t condemn people for their thoughts on topics he didn’t agree with, but would speak out on what was right, and what he didn’t agree with. In those discussions the gospel of Jesus Christ would be mentioned. He knew as most of us Christians know that Jesus Christ is the only hope for this world. The world is in a spiritual darkness, and we have an enemy the devil who is working hard to keep people in this darkness. It was a terrible tragedy what happened to Charlie. It’s an eye opener not only for Christians, but for non-Christians as well. It shows that life is but a mist as the Bible says, and can end like that. Most of the time you never know when death can strike. You need to be prepared for eternity. You want to know where you will end up. It’s either heaven or hell as the Bible says. To get to heaven, one must believe in faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross, and shed his blood for their sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. To get to hell, it’s by choosing to reject Jesus Christ, and God’s free offer of salvation. My prayer is that all people will make the right choice, and receive Jesus as their savior, and enter heaven. For you who is reading this, what is your choice? Even though we lost a great man of God, husband, Father, friend, son, and brother, we as believers know he is now in the loving arms of Jesus in heaven where there is no more tears, sorrow, or suffering.
Armor of God prayer
Good morning Lord. Thank you for assuring me of victory today if I will but follow your battle plan. So today, I claim victory over anger, doubt, guilt, fear, lust, and impatience.
To prepare for the battle ahead, by faith I put on the belt of truth. The truth about you Lord, that your a sovereign God who knows everything about me both my strengths, and my weaknesses, and have promised not to allow me to be tempted beyond what I’m able. The truth about me Lord is that I’m a new creature in Christ, and have been set free from the power of sin. I am indwelt by the Holy Spirit who will guide me and warn me when danger is near. I’m your child, and nothing can separate me from your love. For you have a purpose for me this day. Someone share with, and, someone to love.
Next Lord by faith I put on the breastplate of righteousness. Through this I will guard my heart, and emotions. I will live today not by what I feel, but by faith. I will dwell on nothing but what is pleasing, and honoring to you.
Next Lord by faith I put on the sandals of the gospel of peace. I’m available to you Lord. Send me where you will. Lead me to those who need encouragement or love of some kind. I will not be hurried or rushed for my schedule is in your hands. I will not leave a trail of tension or apprehension, but I will leave tracks of peace and stability wherever I go.
Next Lord, I take up the shield of faith. My faith is in you, and you alone. Apart from you I can do nothing, with you I can do all things. For you have promised victory to those who walk in obedience to your word. So I claim victory now because I know there are fiery darts headed my way as I pray. Lord, you already know what they are and have already provided the way of escape.
Next Lord I put on the helmet of salvation. You know how Satan bombards my mind with evil thoughts, doubt, and fear. I put on this helmet that will protect my mind. I may feel the impact of his attacks, but nothing will penetrate this helmet. I will take every thought captive. I will dwell on nothing , but is right, good, and pleasing, to you.
Last I take up the sword of the spirit which is your word. Thank you for the precious gift of your word. It is strong and powerful, and able to defeat the greatest of Satan’s onslaught. Your word says that I’m not under obligation to flesh to obey its lust. Your word says that I’m free from the power of sin. Your word says he that is in me is greater than he that is in the world. Your word comforts me in times of sorrow, and teaches me in time of meditation. So Lord I go now rejoicing you have chosen me to represent you to this lost and dying world. May Satan and his hosts shudder as your power is made manifest in me. In Jesus name I pray amen.
California wildfires 2020
The year 2020 has not been a good year for our nation, nor for those of us living in California, and Oregon. The Coronavirus has taken a toll on our nation, striking fear, and a sense of hopelessness in the hearts of Americans. For those of us in California and Oregon, we have had multiple fires over the last month, which has brought poor air quality, caused people to lose their homes, has put people in danger of losing their homes, and has brought a tremendous challenge for our firefighters to put out. I keep praying for our nation daily, and for our courageous men and women fighting these fires. I’m so thankful for their service. Despite all the challenges our nation, and world has met this year, there is a greater hope. That greater hope is Jesus Christ who died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. When you have Jesus, you have everything. You have hope which people lose in times like these, you have eternal life when you believe that Jesus death on the cross was sufficient payment for your sins, and when you die, you will have that assurance you will be with him forever in heaven. You must acknowledge that you can’t save yourself no matter how many good deeds or works you have done. You must acknowledge you’re a sinner, and have fallen short of his glory. We all deserve hell, and judgment for our sin, and rebellion toward God. Jesus provided a way to escape hell, and provided a way to heaven by his substitutionary death on the cross in our place. God offers the free gift of salvation to all people. Come as you are, and God will put you back together again. Will you accept his free gift of salvation? It will be the best decision of your life, and for eternity. Come to Christ while you can, because you may never get a chance like this again. Tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us. If you reject God’s offer of salvation, and then die, there is no more hope for you. All that awaits is hell, and judgment. I pray you make the right choice.
Coronavirus
America hasn’t seen a pandemic in a long time since the coronavirus. I haven’t seen one like this in my lifetime. It’s progressed so quickly around the world, sickening people, and taking lives. People are in fear, panic, having a sense of hopelessness, and are in fear of catching it, and dying. A lot of people don’t think of death until something likes this happens. There’s a fear of death. People don’t want to die. There’s a fear because they don’t know what lies beyond. Some believe there’s an afterlife, and a better place. Some believe they will just die and cease to exist. Some believe there’s a better place, and a place that is not so good. There is a better place called heaven, and a horrible place called hell. The bible tells us about both of them, and that people are destined for one of two places after death. People aren’t going to die and cease to exist. We have a soul that will live forever either in heaven or in hell. The bible tells us, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We have all broken God’s moral law the 10 commandments. We have all lied, stolen, taken God’s name in vain, thought, lustful thoughts, and hated someone in our heart. The bible says if you have broken 1 of the commandments, you have broken them all. The 10 commandments are like a mirror that shows us how sinful we are, and that we are condemned to that horrible place called hell. It was given by God to man to show us that we fall short of his holy standards, and that we couldn’t measure up no matter how many good deeds, or works we have done. Our good deeds and works can’t get us to heaven. We can’t rely on our own goodness either, because we have none. We deserve hell and judgment because we have all rebelled against God. He is perfectly just for sending us there. There is only one way to heaven, and its by believing the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s believing in faith that he died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures. Only the blood of Christ can wash away our sins. Heaven isn’t for good people, it’s for forgiven people. It’s Jesus plus nothing. It’s unbelief that will send people to their eternal doom in hell. People will have to trample underfoot the son of God to get to hell. God has done everything he can to provide a way for us to get to heaven. Because Jesus loves us, he willfully laid his life down, and died the substitutionary death that we deserve so that we can come into a rightful relationship with God through his death on the cross. God offers the free gift of salvation to everyone. The question is will you accept it? People have lost hope during this pandemic, but the hope is Jesus Christ. Sin is a disease, and Jesus is the cure. If we had a cure for cancer, we would tell the doctors so they could cure people. Christianity has a cure for the malignancy of the soul, and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. So your choice will be to believe it, and accept God’s offer of salvation, or to reject it. I pray you will accept it, because it will be the best decision of your life, and eternity. Put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ because you aren’t getting out of here without him.
Gospel Tract

Tell me your story
About a week ago, my pastor at church gave a sermon on evangelism of what to do and what not to do while sharing our faith with others. He gave a couple good pointers. He mentioned that we should try to hear the other persons story in regards to things that may be happening in their life. Look for some kind of need in their life. He said we shouldn’t just surprise them by sharing Jesus right away in the conversation. I would like to hear your story about a specific need that you may have, and how Jesus can give you the ray of hope you need. Please feel free to leave comments.
